Year Ending: 12/31/2012

  • Place: We can point to a SolSeed village
  • Resources: Yearly budget is $1 million
  • Industry: We are making money from something core to launching life to another world, eventually another star system
    • Questions:
      • What discipline? (rocketry, power beaming, biotech, water filtration, server farms in space?)
      • Can it support people with reasonable confidence?
      • Win prizes, Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) grants?
        • Venture capital is harder
  • Vision: Our vision is clearly articulated in all core media

Goals (1 Year)

  • Income run rate of $100,000/year (~$9000/month) -- Brandon
  • Place: Ownership of a site by Winter Solstice 2010
    • The site we've chosen for now is Brandon and Shelley's current property
    • Revise this to include something about the pocket cottage?
  • Media: Publish 2 SolSeed books, a 6-minute video (and write a script for a longer one), and a great website -- Ben
  • Spiritual Community: Regular, impactful ceremonies led by multiple people -- Shelley

  • SpaceWiki:
    • Yellow ... Created sponsor-specific inspiring materials, and approached one potential sponsor with those to ask about them sponsoring an event
    • Green ... One thorough sponsorship campaign
    • Super Green ... Five thorough sponsorship campaigns
  • Place:
    • Yellow ... firm decision and commitment for pocket cottage timeline
    • Green ... inspiring concept plans for the pocket cottage
    • Super Green ... plans you could build from, and a builder
  • Media:
    • Yellow ... work on the big book every other week, average 250 words/week (500 per session)
    • Green ... average 500 words/week for the big book all quarter
    • Super Green ... average 1400 words/week for the big book all quarter

2010 1st Quarter Goals, due 3/31/2010

  • Finish children's book
    • Yellow: All art done
    • Green: Art and text assembled and finalized
